I was born in the French capital to an arty mother. I started to show a creative disposition myself very early on, which led me to pursue an artistic path at a young age. At age 16, I enrolled in the selective Ecole d’Arts Appliqués Duperré (Paris) and graduated with a major in Art and a minor in Graphic Design. I then studied at École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d’art (ENSAAMA, Paris) and graduated with a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in Design & Transport.
One if my first job opportunities was an unforgettable journey working with renowned French naval architect André Mauric, best known for Motor Yacht Acajou by Jon Bannenberg. The thrill of that experience encouraged me to start my own design company and try to make it on my own in the yachting industry.
As an independent designer, I worked on a variety of construction and refit projects throughout Europe. Among them, the prestigious Paris-based Alberto Pinto agency b, where I worked as a free- lance contractor on 100+ meter motor yacht projects. The environment and scope of work in which I was involved provided invaluable insight into the industry and its many challenges, such as the high-level of excellence and quality required at all stages.
Later on, I joined the design team at Zuretti Interior Designers, a company based in Nice and specialized in the interior design of super and mega yachts, As Project Manager, I supervised work across multiple projects from the preliminary creative stages all the way to delivery. As Lead for a team of twenty designers, I had an opportunity to work on improve my management, leadership and communication skills.
